Victoria Greising recently completed an AIE exchange in Botswana. She met with Ambassador Gavin and decided on the perfect location for her installation at her house. She completed multiple days of programming and interviews during her trip. One interview was with The Voice, a local newpaper and the other with Yarona FM, a local radio station.
She lectured with the Univeristy of Botswana, and ended with a lecture to the local art students and the College of Education in Molepolole, at a village 50k from Gaborone. This is the only institution in the country with an higher education art program. The students and the faculty were truly inspiring. The questions were about concept and process. Their curiosities were about dialogue, material, composition, color etc. She also hosted a highly successful workshop at Thapong Arts Center.
