While in Morocco at the behest of the ART in Embassies Program, American artist Mildred Howard shared her artistic expertise in a slide lecture entitled “Art and the Found Object” with groups of students in Casablanca at the School of Fine Arts as well as Tetouan. Howard also shared her knowledge of contemporary African American artists with the students of the Hassan II University in a lecture that drew a large crowd of students, faculty and the public.
