William Morris Hunt was a Romantic-Era painter trained and influenced by French styles and teachers, most notably by artist Jean Millet. He was a member of the Barbizon school of Painting in Paris, France, and his works include “Girl at a Fountain”, “The Bathers”, and “Peasant Girl”.
