Titus Welliver began his formal training as a painter at the age of twelve with his father, artist Neil Welliver, and continued five years later at Bennington College (Vermont) with Philip Wofford and Pat Ford. Five years later Welliver abandoned his career as a painter and pursued acting. He has a lengthy resume as an actor in film and television, including films Gone Baby Gone, The Town, Argo, and Transformers: Age of Extinction. Welliver is currently shooting his third season as the titular character on the Amazon Studios series entitled Bosch.
After a twenty-five year hiatus from painting, Welliver began painting again and has exhibited in several shows in the past ten years. He makes his home with his family in Los Angeles and Connecticut.
