Sigrid Piroch is a textile artist, designer, weaver, teacher, and publisher. Over the past twenty-five years she has taught, researched and exhibited for museums, craft schools, studios, colleges, conferences, and guilds in over forty U.S. states, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Australia/Tasmania, and New Zealand. Piroch is the director of her own ARTS STUDIO in Foxburg, Pennsylvania. She says, “I love everything about the process of creating opulent cloth. It is the challenge of fabricating illusion in fiber.”
