Sanan Samadov was born in the Guba region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 1978 to 1980 he studied at the Art Lyceum in Baku; from 1982 to 1987 he continued his studies at the Graphic Arts Faculty of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute. In 1987 he became a member of the Young Artist Section of the USSR Artist Union. Since 1985 Samadov has participated in in-country, international, and all Union exhibitions. Presently, he is a Member of the Artist Union of Azerbaijan. The artist lives in Baku and his works can be seen at museums in Azerbaijan and in private collections in various countries in Europe and Asia.
