Artist, educator, community builder, and social entrepreneur Ruben Shimonov shares his passion for Jewish diversity and intercultural understanding in his work, incorporating his multifaith and multilingual upbringing into his word-based art. The Hebrew-Arabic-Persian calligraphy prints seek to build interfaith bridges between Muslims and Jews, as well as communicate the layers of the artist’s Central Asian Jewish identity.
