Rita Ludden has been working in the colored pencil medium for the past fifteen years. Her works are composed of many layers of color and detail with reference to floral and animal life. Her colored pencil drawings are included in four colored pencil books. She is a charter and signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America. She also does water colors, especially commissioned home portraits. She has a BFA from Syracuse University and a MFA from Florida State University. Her award-winning drawings are included in many public and private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe.
