Rebecca Cross

Rebecca Cross holds a M.A. in painting from the Royal College of Art in London, a Certificate of Advanced Sculpture from St. Martin’s School of Art in London, and B.A. in painting and sculpture from Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont. The D.C. Commission on the Art and Humanities and the National Endowment for the arts twice awarded Cross with the Individual Artist Fellowship Grant. She also received awards from the MacDowell Colony, the American Scandinavian Foundation, and the Upper Catskill Council for the Arts. Cross’s work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery. She has participated in numerous solo exhibitions at the Ralls Collection in Washington, DC; Interlimbic Gallery in Middleberg, Virginia; and the Humanities Art Gallery at the University of Minnesota in Morris, Minnesota.
