Paul Zdepski has been in the arts since his first published book and album cover, both created in 1979 while he was still in high school. He attended the Philadelphia College of Art, University of the Arts Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration. He has worked on numerous high profile public artworks that stand in New York, New Jersey, and Japan. He is a prolific painter, working in oil on canvas, board, paper, and panel.
Zdepski supports himself as an illustrator and designer in both the traditional and digital fields. The subject matter of his most recent work has been the domestic animals of Ayrshire Farm in Upperville, Virginia. He also has a long history of portraiture. Zdepski currently works as a painter and designer, and teaches at Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, West Virginia. He lives in Strasburg, Virginia.
