“I am a resident of Boca Raton, FL and began my career working in clay. My sculptures and ceramic wall forms garnered much national recognition during my years working in that medium. But, like many artists, I sought new challenges and turned to canvas. I have found my place working with acrylic on canvas and my studio is a reflection of this immersion into that medium.
I take up the challenge of Expressionism and Reduction to define and interpret this relationship within the world in which I live. Employing acrylic paints, mixed media and canvas, I interpret my feelings as a resident of the world on loan in the environs in which I reside, observe, and fantasize.
My work is defined by the search for truth, utilizing reductive and profound concepts interpreted through minimally variable colorations. By design, they are meant to be both intellectually stimulating and contemplative.”
