Marilyn Davidson

Marilyn Davidson is an internationally recognized visual artist, represented by paintings, sculptures, drawings and art jewels in the permanent collections in many museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Museum of Art and Design in New York, among others both nationally and internationally.

Davidson’s work has been featured in major publications including the New York Times and New York Magazine. She has made significant contributions to arts education, teaching at Syracuse University in New York, Penland in North Carolina, the Chautauqua Institution in New York, and art colleges throughout Europe. Her achievements have been recognized with grants from the Ford Foundation, NYS Council on the Arts, Ucross Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, among others.
