

New York-based artist Katy Fischer is best known for her abstract paintings, ceramic installations and public mosaic projects. In 2017, she was commissioned by the New York City MTA to design seven ceramic and glass subway station mosaics for the Bay Ridge Av, R line stop in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been included in national and international group exhibitions including shows at New Release Gallery in New York
City, Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami, Lamp Gallery in Tokyo, The Figge Museum of Art in Davenport and Vedanta Gallery in Chicago. Recent solo exhibitions of her work include Finders, Keepers, Losers and Weepers at 356 S. Mission Rd. in Los Angeles and Script, a site specific solo ceramic installation at NADA Governors Island in New York. The Cleveland Clinic and New York Presbyterian Hospital and has been written about in both The Boston Globe and The New York Times.
