Joyce Blegen worked extensively in two-dimensional media: oil, watercolor, monotype and woodcut printing, and drawing. Her handmade paper works appear almost like paintings, with the compositions, textures, and colors created exclusively from paper pulp and other natural fibers that Blegen formed and dyed in her studio.
