Jill McGannon is an award-winning plein air painter from Georgia. McGannon first painted en plein air when she was an artist-in-residence with the University of Georgia’s study-abroad program in Italy. In the years since that residency, she has continued to paint throughout coastal South Carolina and Georgia, working in oil in a realistic style shaped by careful observation.
