J.T. Kirkland holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Centre College, Danville, Kentucky. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the mid-Atlantic region, and can be found in public and private collections in the United States. The recipient of several awards and residencies, Kirkland is also a curator, arts writer and editor, a lecturer and panelist, and was the Director of H&F Fine Arts, Mt. Rainier, Maryland (2007-2008).
