Fleurette Estes is a San Antonio, Texas based Navajo artist and photographer. Originally from the Navajo Nation Reservation, Fleurette received a Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, then moved to Tyler, Texas and pursued a career in retail. After moving to San Antonio in 2017, she ‘retired ‘ from retail and devoted her career to art full-time, including painting, photography, sewing, and jewelry-making. Her inspirations come from traveling, culture, and landscapes. She loves when people are drawn to her work because of their own travels, and the mutual connection travel creates between her and her patrons.
