Dzevad Hozo was born in 1938 in Titovo Uzice, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Sarajevo and also a member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Hozo is a winner of 15 national awards, recipient of first prize at the twelfth Biennial of Arts of Mediterranean Countries in Alexandria, and winner of the annual award for arts of daily newspaper “”Oslobodjenje.”
The artist took part in a great number of important domestic and international collective exhibitions, including VI-XII Biennial of Graphic Arts in Ljubliana.
