Debe Abbott and her husband, Kevin, are the owners of Abbott’s Lake Country Studio, a custom framing workshop and art studio in upstate New York. In addition to showing her work at the studio, Abbott has actively exhibited her watercolors in venues throughout the country, and they are included in several private and corporate collections. Of her work, Abbott says, I consider myself mostly a landscape painter – even my abstract work is based on landscapes, or at least inspired by the natural world. Fields, flowers, trees, the sky – everything I see around me finds it’s way into my paintings.
