Carol Lopatin was born in Rockland County, New York, graduated from Skidmore College, and currently resides in Falls Church, VA. She has been featured in: The Artist’s Magazine, January/February 2010, Acrylic Artist Magazine, September 2010, American Art Collector, élan magazine, and Watercolor Magic.

I enjoy the challenge of painting on location. I work intensely using many layers of acrylic paint. Composition, color and brushwork form a narrative of “place.”
