I have never been interested in mirroring the world or borrowing imagery from it. Rather, I am interested in inventing new pictures to tell my story. Even though my work might be occasionally read as iconic or autobiographical, my main interest has always been to explore the invisible.

I am interested in beginnings, how we perceive realities, how we process and respond to information and how we create new experiences. My paintings are vehicles to transport my thoughts and stimulate response and interaction.

Painting is a tool to learn more about ourselves and the world we are part of.
