Barbara Pozek

Barbara Pozek is an artist that enjoys celebrating unique moments in her quilts which are constructed using various art techniques combined with traditional quilting. She began quilting in 1993, after moving to the Ozarks, and fell in love with the versatility of fabric as a medium. Currently, she is working on a series based on local musicians.

Barbara has a BA in Art education from the University of West Florida. She has taught in the public schools, the Toledo Museum of Art and, currently, is a substitute teacher for the Reeds Spring school district.

Barb’s art has been shown nationally in galleries, museums and shows and is in private collections internationally.

She resides in Kimberling City with her husband and three children.
