Richard Jolley

Born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1952, Richard Jolley received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and did graduate studies at Penland School in North Carolina. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and can be found in corporate, private, and public collections, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.; the Corning Museum of Glass, New York; the Mint Museum of Craft + Design, Charlotte, North Carolina; and museums in Denmark, Germany, and Japan. Jolley was the recipient of a Tennessee Individual Artist Grant, and has had residencies at the University of Sydney, Sidney College of Art, Australia; the Israeli Cultural Artist Exchange; and the Galeria Angela Hollings, Hameln, Germany. He currently lives and works in Knoxville, Tennessee.
