Ethel Gittlin studied at Hunter College and the Art Students League, both in New York. She has had solo exhibition at the Walter Wickiser Gallery, New York, New York; Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters, New Brunswick, New Jersey, New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Summit, New Jersey, and Galerie Sloan, Scottsdale, Arizona, among others. Her work is in a variety of public and private collections, including Buroughs Development Corporation, The Blackstone Group, IBM Corporation, and the University of Hartford, West Hartford, Connecticut.
