Artist Valentina DuBasky has traveled along the Silk Route and in Southeast Asia to research cave paintings and ancient art for her own modern-day “cave-wall” paintings of birds and rainforests. Valentina’s paintings and prints have been included in over 154 national and international exhibitions, and have been featured in articles and reviews in the fine arts press and major publications, including Art in America, ArtNews, Artforum, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Art & Antiques and Luxe Magazine. Public collections include The Orlando Museum, The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, The Newark Museum, The Seattle Art Museum, Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University, Pew Charitable Trust Collection, Prudential Collection, IBM collection, Fuzhou International Center in China and in private collections in Europe, Asia and the Mideast.
Her artwork has been exhibited at US Embassies in Estonia, Iceland, Jordan, Latvia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Norway, Oman, Peru and Thailand through the Art in Embassy Program, US Department of State.
