Bill Sweeney’s simple pastoral paintings beautifully capture the sights, smells, and sounds of the farm. Largely depicting Ring Farm, also known as Kuerner’s Farm, each work contains earth tones with direct lighting. According to Sweeney, “the uncut and just cut grasses, the hay bales, the wildflowers or the stones in the wall in need of repair are disorganized but there is order within the randomness.”
