Mimi Williams has works primarily in printmaking and is inspired by the beauty and culture of the Pacific Northwest and West Coast. After drawing an image on paper, Williams transfers it to a linoleum block—first rolled in ink—for carving and then impresses the image by hand with a wooden spoon. She finishes her process by printing colored paper and collaging those pieces onto the initial print.
