William Graef is a New York artist who lives and works in Manhattan’s East Village. His conceptual based art is realized in sculpture, painting, photography and video. Son of an architect, previous vocations include graphic design and art direction for the publishing, advertising and entertainment industries. His work has been endorsed by author Anthony Haden-Guest, columnist Richard Johnson, artist Yoko Ono, and historian Luc Sante. Recently included in the Art In Embassies program, his cast rice wheel covers currently hang at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador Carol Rodley. His latest exhibition “Know-It-All” is currently on display at Java Gallery in Phnom Penh during January 2011.
