North Carolina-based artist Victoria Darlington Yoder sees photography as a way of recording her life’s journey and the world around her. Yoder was born and raised in Manhattan, New York, and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in photography. She documents wildlife, nature, landscapes, and life on a country road near her home. She also photographs all of her travels; her favorites of which have been Cuba, Cambodia, Kenya, Tanzania, Honduras, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. Finding beauty in simple things, Yoder’s style captures both observed and voyeuristic angles that echo the quiet and the calm.
