Sally Glaze is a textile artist. Her piece, The Governors Quilt, was made in honor of the quincentennial of Christopher Columbus landing in America in 1492. It took two years to complete, features fifty-one blocks based on state stars, and each pattern was reproduced using recycled X-ray film.
