Roberta Seger lives and paints on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Her watercolors communicate an immediacy of place and mood, providing the viewer a glimpse of life on the Chesapeake.
Roberta B. Seger is a graduate of Drexel University with a degree in fine arts. She is a member of the Art Academy Museum in Easton, Maryland, where she currently teaches landscape painting in oils. Through the years she has studied oil painting with Carmin Davis, A.B. Banghardt, Cedric Egli, Bernard Perleman, and watercolors with Martha Hudson. Roberta has attended various professional workshops.

Roberta (“Bobbie”) Seger lives with her husband George, and Beau, their English Springer, on the outskirts of Easton, Maryland on the Tred Avon River. They enjoy many recreational opportunities living on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay—sailing, golfing, fishing, gardening and painting. The love of the outdoors has led “Bobbie” toward landscape painting, preferably on location.

She feels that anyone could benefit from at least one landscape painting course, just to learn to see all things with a keener sense of observation, a deeper awareness and appreciation of the world around us!
