“As a young girl growing up in Minnesota, my family spent most of our free time deep in the woods along the St. Croix River. It was here, in the wild northern woods where my family instilled respect for and appreciation of nature.” My work is heavily influenced in my formative years spent playing in my forest. That early love of nature has become a re-occurring theme in my colorful landscapes. “Nature is where I am most at peace, and hopefully my joyful landscapes convey my appreciation for the wild places.”
