Renowned Southwestern painter Genevieve Reckling began her career as a teenager in Houston, Texas. Based in Phoenix, Arizona for her adult life, Reckling has found inspiration in flowing water in desert settings. Her Arizona waterscapes have achieved nationwide success in galleries, museums and corporate collections. More recently, Reckling finds subject matter in the small streams of Northeast Ohio. In this more abstract phase, she depicts small water features preserved within the urban forest. “Tristan’s Forest” is representative.
