Dave Wetherell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, and an honorary doctorate from Bryant University, Smithfield, Rhode Island. Along with his artistic pursuits, Wetherell has spent over twenty years as a chief executive officer in the high-tech industry, as well as seventeen years in venture capital. In 2005, he started GBP Capital—later to become Biomark Capital—a venture capital company based in Greenwich, Connecticut, and focused on cutting-edge life sciences.
