Cie resided in New York from 1978 to 1987 with her husband, George Green who is also an artist. Still maintaining a loft in New York they moved back to Portland and built a house with a large studio where they recently installed a press for Cie to print monotypes. During the last twenty years Cie Goulet has exhibited her work on both the east and west coasts, including shows at the Louis Meisel Gallery, the Artist Space, and the Hansen Galleries in New York, and the San Francisco Arts Institute in California. Cie Goulet’s work has been well-collected nationally, both publicly and privately.
