Cianne Fragione

Cianne Fragione’s process-oriented practice crosses boundaries between abstract painting and sculpture, object, and image. She incorporates elements of collage and mixed media—including Italian lace, fragments of writing, found objects, and textiles—to create works rich with texture and history. “I am captivated by beauty always, but at the same time, I also want the rhythms of life to seep into my imagery,” she says.
