Chelsea Sebastian’s paintings “are a reflection of [her] life, filtered by [her] emotional response, which is usually a mixture of awe and love.” She is inspired by her childhood on a small farm, extensive world travels, and New England’s dramatic seasons and dynamic community. “I work in layers,” she says, “scraping off texture between painting sessions to reveal previous colors.”
