Artist’s quote:
Art has been a part of my life since I was ten. My first easel was built for me by my father, styled after an illustration he had seen in a book. The easel he built lasted until I discovered a French one. The late Mike Maier’s Pochade box has since been my outdoor tool for hundreds of paintings. Oil painting is not easy and requires constant study. It is important to always be learning. Wherever I travel in this world, I find inspiration. My life has been rich with family, friends and supporters! To all who have believed in my work, made possible my travels, and helped me live a wonderful life, I say, ‘Thank you.’
