Barbro Eriksdotter was educated in art, design, and textiles in her native Sweden as well as in the U.S. The field of metals has been her primary artistic and professional medium since 1976.
She is a charter member of the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths, and has served that organization in various capacities including as president. Eriksdotter has been a member of Studio Metallum at the renowned Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA, since 1983. She is also a teacher at the Art League School, Jewelry Department.
Eriksdotter’s work has been exhibited in numerous juried local, national and international shows.
