Paul Weingarten received a BS in Art at New York University and also studied at The Art Students League and Columbia University, where he was enrolled in the MA program. He has taught studio art in public school programs in Connecticut and New York, at the New York Studio School, the University of Wisconsin, and Binghamton University (SUNY). He has held solo exhibitions most recently at Salander-O’Reilly Galleries; the Montclair Art Museum; the State Museum, Trenton, NJ; and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, NY, among others. He participated in group shows at the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, NY; the Montclair Art Museum; the Newark Museum; the Art Institute of Philadelphia; and the Salander-O’Reilly Galleries in New York and Beverly Hills, CA; and the inaugural exhibition in Berlin, Germany in 1991. He is represented by the Salander-O’Reilly Galleries in New York. His work is in many private and public collections, including the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA; the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, NY; the Newark Museum; the Allentown Art Museum, PA; and the State Museum of New Jersey, Trenton, NJ.
